For more than a decade, there have been various stellar collaborations in Afrobeats between Nigerians and international artists out of africa. However, today’s gist is about Nigerian singer-songwriter, Ayra Starr who has made her mark on the global stage on a journey to stardom has been nothing short of remarkable. Although Ayra Starr has been quite vocal about her dreams of collaborating with international acts, particularly Rihanna, she seems to be actively ticking names off her list!
Her latest collaborative work with David Guetta, a talented producer & DJ and Lil Durk, a renowned Chicago rapper resulted in the lyrical masterpiec — “Big FU” which has since made the headlines. Ayra Starr’s enchanting vocals, coupled with Lil Durk’s lyrical brilliance, and the expert production by David Guetta and Johnny Goldstein creates an unique fusion of sounds.
